In Kanchangjunga region, the trekking routes in Kanchanjunga National Park starts from Yuksum (the first capital of Sikkim). On a well beaten trekking track in form of bridle path running through terraced fields of barley and orchards; onto moss-laden lush green forests of pines, firs, giant magnolias, rhododendron, spruces and orchids- a naturalists’ paradise.
