Itinerary
Namaste and Welcome to Kathmandu. Representative of Friendship World Trek greets you at the international airport. Then you will be transferred at the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, refresh and rest yourselves. We will briefly explain our tour program in the evening.
After having breakfast at hotel, we start our scenic drive to Lumbini. It takes about 7-8 hours from the capital city- Kathmandu. Now we are entering into the Terai region, which is a flat land. The climatic is generally warm and humid. After a long drive we arrive at Lumbini. Check-in at the hotel and have a rest.
Today, we explore the birth place of Lord Buddha, ancient heritages and Buddhist Monasteries for the whole day. It has got long history related to Buddhism and many records are still preserved safely in the museum. Kapilvastu is a place in Lumbini, where Buddha was born around 6th century B.C. There are still archaeological excavations going on in search of further facts and evidences. Lumbini Garden, the Mayadevi Temple, Pushkarni Pool and other various temples built by the followers of Lord Buddha are the major attractions of Lumbini excursion. Return back to the hotel.
After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Kathmandu for about 7-8 hours. This is a scenic drive with Himalayan views, Rivers and Jungles. After the arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel. Walk around the local market in the evening.
Today, it’s your final day of the trip in Nepal. On your airport time, Friendship World Trek will bid farewell and wish for safe journey. Or if you have extra activities in Nepal then we make the further trip.
