Get ready to experience one of the best expeditions of your life. Get ready to open up your mind and record all the beautiful things to cherish them hereafter. The Saboo to Khaltsar Expedition starts from Leh. Land in Leh through flight or train. Your stay will be in the inn after you reach. Leh is now at a very high elevation, consequently, you ought to be acclimatized entirely well. Utilize this day as a chance to rest and get your body acclimatized to the high heights.

This will be the second day of the trek. On this day, we will drive to Saboo from Leh and then trek to Digar La. After waking up early in the morning, we will begin the trek post a sumptuous breakfast at Leh. In a few hours’ time, we will be setting our foot in Saboo village. Lunch will be served. After getting a charge out of the stroll to Saboo Village, we have to start our trek from Saboo to Digar La. Through Saboo Phu, a nibbling field of the Saboo Villagers, we will make our way at the base camp of the Digar La for the first-night stay in the tents. The magnificence of the spot was unparalleled. Digar La is the pass that interfaces Saboo to Khaltsar and Indus Valley.
From Digar La, the sights of the Saser Kangri and Stok Kangri were stunning and inside and out pleasant.
Dinner will be served at night along with few activities to boost up the further interaction. Overnight stay will be set up in tents.

On the day of this trek, we will trek from Digar La base to Chumik Yogma. The day is actually very long as the distance and toughness are a bit high. We will start early today. After having a healthy breakfast at Digar La base, we will make our way to Chumik Yogma. Chumik Yogma is situated at an elevation of 15,124 feet. Make sure that you have enough water to meet the day’s activities. The trail is strolled through some delightful glades and enrapturing scenes. You will witness some of the highest ranges such as Karakoram and Zanskar.
We will play some games, indulge in storytelling until the dinner is served. We will sleep overnight in tents.

The day 4 on this trek will take you a little closer to Khaltsar. On this day we will move from Chumik Yogma to Digar Village. Day 4 will be a shorter one as compared to the other days. After meandering for 3-4 hours, you will reach Digar village.
Take a short walk in the evening. Get acclimatized with the climate of this place. Revel in the beauty of this beautiful campsite. Dinner will be served at night along with lots of life stories. Overnight stay will be set up in tents.

Altitude : 10,188 ft.

This will be the day 5 on this trek. On this day we will trek from Digar Village to Rongjok. Rongjok is situated at an elevation of around 3105m above the mean sea level.
We will make our way to Rongjok after a delicious lunch and keep moving along the left side trail which takes us towards the famous Shyok valley. As the trail is descending, this day won’t prove to be much of an ordeal.
Dinner will be served and overnight stay will be set up.

This will be apparently the last day on this trek. On this day, we will be trekking from Rongjok To Khaltsar. The trail is a slipping stroll of around 15 km and will take around 5 hours. The whole path will provide a splendid sight throughout. The way is wonderfully lined on the Shayok River Valley and the setting of the spot is really charming. We will be reaching Khaltsar at some time.
Khaltsar Village is very pretty. We will roam around the village and rejuvenate ourselves. This place is very scenic. After this, we will drive to Dikshit. We will have our dinner at night and stay overnight in tents.

This will be the last day of the trek. On this day we will drive back to Leh. We can roam a bit, enjoy the last few moments on this journey with a lot of strangers turning into life- long friends. On your drive back to Leh, refresh the memories of the elegant Saboo and Khaltsar along with the Trekmunk family. Once you reach Leh, you will be on our own. You can plan your further journey. There are a lot of places you can visit if you wanna stay back for a day or two.

  • Services of a Professional Trekking Team: A team of an experienced Cook, Camp Staff, Porters/Mules will accompany you for all the arrangements on the trek.
  • Meals: All Meals on the Trek are included. We will serve Vegetarian Indian food on the trek which will be cooked by our high altitude chefs. It will be a five-course meal plan.
  • Camping and Safety Equipment: All the camping equipment such as Tents, Sleeping bags, Toilet Tents, Dining Tent, Mattresses, and other things will be provided by us and we guarantee the quality. Safety Equipment including Medical kit, Oxygen Cylinder, Oximeter, Crampons & Gaiters(if required) will be provided by us. We recommend you to bring your own sleeping bags if possible.
  • Trek Permits and Forest Camping Charges: Only for Indian Clients, All the applicable trekking permits, Camping Charges, Forest Entry Fee, etc will be paid by us. Foreigners have to pay these charges if not mentioned.

  • Food in Leh: Food in Leh is not included in the package. You can dine anywhere in Leh city,  we can recommend a few good options.
  • Flights and Transportation: Flights or other means of transport are not included in the package. Transportation from Home city to Leh and Leh to Home city is not included in the package. Any expenses occurred during the journey are not included in the package cost.
  • Personal Equipment: Your Rucksack, personal clothing, shoes, trek poles, and other personal trekking gear is not included in this package. You have to bring your own gear according to the weather and difficulty of the trek.
  • Portage of Personal Bags(Offloading): We highly advise you to carry your own burden (your rucksack) but due to any reason, if you wish to not carry your rucksack, we can arrange for a porter/mule to carry it. For this service, you will be charged over and above the trek cost. The charges for offloading vary with every trek.
  • Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance is not included in this package. We recommend you to have travel insurance before opting for such adventures. You can buy insurance from us while booking the trek, it is optional.
  • Personal Expenses: Any personal expenses incurred (Laundry, Bottled Water, Beverages, Snacks, Orders at tea houses or dhabas, Tips for guides, Camera fees, etc) are not included in the package.
