Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport (1400m) and Transfer to Hotel

On your arrival Day in Kathmandu 1310 m, we are waiting for you at the Tribhuvan International Airport to pick you up outside of arrival gate to show our representative member holding the logo of company by Friendship World Trek then, we equally warm welcome all the tour participants members of group checking the proper luggage before going to Hotel finalize then start drive to the city 25 to 30 minutes by private transportation to checking at Hotel and we will shortly brief about program for your journey to the particular destination next morning take a Breakfast

Day 02: Sightseeing of UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley and Trek Preparation

The very next morning, after breakfast you will leave for a half day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. You can visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple and Swyambhunath, very ancient and essentially enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath and the fine arts and historical architecture of Kathmandu Durbar Square reflecting the ancient Nepalese culture which is the highlights of our guided tour. A visit to Patan City will enchant you with its famous fine arts and historical architecture. On return to your hotel,

We spend a day preparing the final documents, gears & equipment check and so on. You must bring your passport, three passport-size photos, and a copy of your travel insurance policy in order to obtain a permit. You can go for final shopping if something is missed before leaving out for the mountain.

you will have time to explore the local area, have dinner and perhaps take a leisurely stroll through the famous streets. Finally, day ends with a Authentic Nepalese Dinner in Nepali Cultural Restaurant.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu (1400m) to Syabrubesi (1503m / 4945ft) (7-9 hours)

You will start your Paldor Peak Climbing journey through a drive to Syabrubesi. We will be driving into Langtang National Park, where we must register our trek permits. The 7 to 8 hours scenic drive following the Trisuli Bazaar, Ramche Gaon, and Dhunche is undoubtedly a pleasant ride. The road is a bit narrow and rocky, but the alluring landscape will leave you in awe. We spend the night in Syabrubesi. Syabrubesi, being the mid-point of several treks and the border of China, has all the things you might require for the trek. We rest and relax at Syabrubesi and prepare for our hike the next day.

Day 04: Trek from Syabrubesi (1,503m / 4,945ft) via Chawatar (lunch) to Gatlang (2,337m / 7,690ft) 5- 6 hours

Our destination for today is a small Tamang village called Gatlang. We follow a narrow and twisty trail to Bahun Dada Pass and then descend to reach Gatlang. We stop at Chawatar for lunch. The food is amazingly delicious here as most of the vegetables are freshly picked and locally grown. As we pass through this magnificent Tamang village, we witness the richness of their culture and tradition. We stay at Gatlang with the Tamang people. Their hospitality and food, without a doubt, will prove to be one of the best experiences you will ever get.

Day 05: Trek from Gatlang (2,337m / 7,690ft) to Parvati Kund, Yuri Kharka (lunch) to Somdang (3,271m / 10,760ft) (6-7 hours)

We begin the hike from Gatlang to Parvati Kunda, a natural alpine freshwater lake. Named after the famous Hindu Goddess Parvati, the wife of Lord Shiva, this beautiful lake is also considered sacred by the local people.

As you trek further ahead, the habitat and lodges decrease. However, you might come across very few tourists. We continue the trail through lush pine and rhododendron forest to Yuri Kharka. After a delicious meal at Yuri Kharka, we hike towards the Somdang via Khurphu Bhanjyang. There is a shutdown mine, a few hours’ walk from Somdang. Though the mine has not functioned for years, you can still take a look around and explore its astonishing beauty. In the past, this mine used to produce zinc, copper, tin, and crystals (including rubies)

We will spend the night at Somdang Valley. The valley is so remote and silent you will literally find out what silence looks like.

Day 06: Trek from Somdang to Paldor Base Camp (4,280m) takes about six to seven hours.

From Somdang village we will leave the settled village region and walk pass the few mines to reach Paldor Base Camp. The terrain starts to change significantly as we get near the base camp. Today you make a gradual ascent along the path passing through forests until you reach Paigutang Kharka. From here, the trail steeply goes up to Jasta Khani. On the way you cross rocky paths covered by juniper. There is a zinc mine at Jasta Khani as well. The path, in some places, is quite rocky as we climb between outcrops and then traverse towards the northeast to a small valley bounded by moraines below the glaciers of the Paldor Peak. Following a rocky glacier trail, we will reach the base camp in the late afternoon. We make our Base Camp here, below the confluence of the Paldor West and Paldor East glaciers just north of a fine rock pinnacle. After setting the camp to enjoy a beautiful sunset view. Overnight at a tented camp in Paldor Base Camp.

Day 07: Rest day at Base Camp for acclimatization.

Today is the rest day as time is needed for acclimatization and for sorting out the equipment which we will be taking to our high camp. The further strategy will also be discussed and planned out. You will also get time to explore the area around the base camp.

Day 08: Climb from Paldor Base Camp to High Camp which takes about five hours

From the base camp of Paldor, it is a short but demanding climb to reach the high camp. So, Today you climb from Paldor Base Camp to High Camp which takes about five hours. As you continue along the trail, it moves through rocky glaciers. En route, you get completely mesmerized by the views of Paldor East and Paldor West. You also get to enjoy the views of green and rocky hills around you. The high camp in itself looks like a summit just below a high hill beside the main Paldor Peak. We will rest for the day after setting up our camp at the High camp. Prepare for the climb to the summit, the next day and sleep early for a proper rest. Overnight at Paldor High Camp.

Day 09: Summit Paldor Peak (5,896m) and come back to Base Camp that takes about nine hours.

From the High Camp, we will follow the Paldor Glacier in the east. Walking through the steep snow slope, loose rock pinnacles, and hard snow, we finally reach the peak. The summit offers stunning views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Shishapangma, Ganesh Himal, Shishapangma, Langtang Lirung, Ganesh I, II, III, Manaslu and the brown hills of Tibet. The views of Ganesh range, LangtangLirung alongside other majestic peaks all around is out of the world. Take some photos and enjoy the moment here. We will start the descent soon and head back to the high camp of Paldor Peak. From the high camp, we will continue further to the Paldor base camp. Rest for the day in the camp after reaching the base camp. Overnight at a tented camp.

Day 10: Trek from Paldor Base Camp to Somdang takes about five hours.

From Paldor Base Camp we will leave the icy Cold Peak and walk pass the few mines to reach Somdang Valley. The path, in some places, is quite rocky as we climb between outcrops and then traverse towards the northeast to a small valley bounded by moraines below the glaciers of the Paldor Peak. The terrain starts to change significantly as we get near the Somdang Valley. Today you make a gradual descent along the path passing through forests until you reach Paigutang Kharka. From here, the trail steeply goes down to Jasta Khani. On the way you cross rocky paths covered by juniper. There is a zinc mine at Jasta Khani as well.

Day 11: Trek from Somdang (3,271m / 10,760ft) via Pangsang Pass (3,842m / 12,604ft) to Tipling (2,078m / 6,835ft) (6-7 hours)

After waking up at Somdang, we enjoy a delicious breakfast. On this day, you will be passing through the Pangsang La Pass, which is a demanding, yet exciting trek. While appreciating the stunning mountains and spectacular landscapes, we head to the southwest of Somdang Village to reach Pangsang Kharka. Pasang Kharka is a large meadow that lies in Pangsang Pass.  

From Pangsang Kharka, you can witness the panoramic views of Mount Manaslu and the Ganesh Himal Range. As one of the lesser-traveled trekking routes, there are relatively fewer homestays here. Then, we descend to Laptung village, passing through dense fir and rhododendron forests until we arrive at Tipling after a long trek.

Day 12: Trek from Tipling (2,078m / 6,835ft) to Chalish Gaon (1,800m / 5,960ft) 2 hours Trek

Today’s trek will be a short and relaxing one as we trek our way to the sister villages of Shertung and Chalish Gaon. First, we descend through the serene jungle, cross a tributary and reach Chalish Gaon, which lies in an idyllic setting. About 100m, above Chailsh Gaon, is Shertung village, and both of these settlements have a lot to explore. However, you can just choose to relax and enjoy the spectacular surrounding fields and lush valley below. Shertung and Chalish Gaon are inhabited mainly by Gurungs, Tamangs, and Dalits.

Day 13: Trek From Chalish (1,800m / 5,960ft) to Borang (1,700m / 2,296ft), Drive to Dhading Besi (580m /1,902ft) (2-3 hours Trek and 4-5 hours Drive)

A final day before you return to Kathmandu, you will enjoy all the wonderments of this trail. After a pleasant breakfast, we will hike further to Borang village then descend to Lishne Khola from Borang. From Borang, we take a local jeep to take us through a curvy road past Ankhu Khola and Kimdang Phedi Villages to Dhading Besi. As you return, you will see several peaceful settlements, which will make you nostalgic. We will be staying at Dhading Besi for the night.

Day 14: Drive from Dhading Besi to Kathmandu (1400m) (4-5 hours)

We take another bus from Dhading Besi to Kathmandu back to your hotel. If you want, we can arrange a Kathmandu city tour taking you to several world heritage sites. As beautiful as the surrounding mountains, the culture in and around Kathmandu City is a must-see before you call it an end to your vacation.

Day 15: Final Departure or Onward For Your Next Program

One of our staff members will assist you in getting to the airport when it is time for your flight to depart. If you want to extend your trip, Friendship World Trek, however, can make the required arrangements. If your flight is scheduled for a late evening, you may also go shopping to get a few presents for your loved ones.
