Lumbini isn't just a destination for Buddhists; it's a haven for anyone seeking inner peace and contemplation. The vast gardens and tranquil ambiance encourage visitors to reflect and find solace amidst the bustling world. The teachings of the Buddha resonate through the air, inviting contemplation and self-discovery. Additionally, the nearby town of Lumbini offers a glimpse into local Nepalese life, with markets, eateries, and opportunities to engage with the friendly locals. A short distance away lies Tilaurakot, the ancient palace where Siddhartha spent his early life.
