Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1350m) and Transfer to Hotel

Representative from Friendship World Trek great at Airport and transfer to Hotel near at roust city Thamel. Check in and rest of the time is rest in your hotel.

Day 02: Day in Kathmandu. Sightseeing and Trip Preparation. Overnight at Hotel

After your breakfast in Hotel, our guide will lead you to sightseeing in kathmandu valley. Bauddhanath temple, Pashupatinath temple, Gujeswori and Jalanarayan. come back to hotel for lunch. stay at trip briefing and final packing after lunch.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1450m, 8hrs). Overnight at Guest House

After breakfast in Kathmandu hotel, start driving to Shyaprubesi. Drive cross Trusili Bazzar, Betrawati and Dhunche. We manage to take your lunch on the way and dinner at Syapru.

Day 04: Drive to Nepal Tibet immigration Kerung. Cross Border and Reach Tibetan site. (3600m) Overnight at Guest House

Very short driving around 27 kilometers to Kerung from Shyapru. After immigration formalities in Nepal Tibet boarder, cross border. We will meet Tibetan guide and driver at other side of Tibet and further drive to Kerung Tibet.

Day 05: Stay at Kerung. Short Hiking for Acclimatization. Overnight at Guest House

Today is acclimatization day at Kerung. Our guide will lead you hiking around the hill after your breakfast. This help your body to adjust easily at high altitude. Come back to guide house, take you lunch. Rest of the time is free for walking around the town yourself.

Day 06: Drive to Saga (230km, 6hrs, 4450m) Overnight at Guest House

Drive to Saga from Kerung. It is driving through high land well paved road. we gain almost 850 miter altitude by reaching Saga today. Saga is second town in Nagri/ Kailash region after Darchen near Kailash and Lake Mansarovar.

Day 07: Drive to Lake Mansarovar (370km, 7hrs, 4580m). Overnight at Guest House

It is an important day for pilgrimage. The first view of Mount kailash is seen from Lake Mansarovar. Drive start quite early after your breakfast. It is 6/7 hours driving reach at Horchu from here Lake Manasarovar and Mount Kailash start to view. We go to Mansarovar Kora with bus. drive to guest house near Chiu Gumba. Stay near the lake with clearly viewed Mount Kailash.

Day 08: Exploration of Lake Mansarovar and Drive to Darchen (40km, 1hr, 4575m) Overnight at Guest House

You will have enough time to explore Lake Manasarovar and surroundings. It is only short drive to Darchen and we will do it only after Lunch. Darchen is the base camp of Mount Kailash from where we start our Kailash Parikrama. preparation of Kora and stay overnight.

Day 09: Drive to valley of God (7km). Start Kailash Parikrama (Trekking 4-5hrs). Reach at Derapuk (4900m) Overnight at Guest House

Early in the morning, start driving to Valley of the God. If you have chosen your personal horse and helper, you will meet here. It is about 18 kilometers easy walking toward Derapuk. North Face of Kailash. Our Kitchen team provide you light and warm dinner. Overnight at guest house.

Day 10: Second Day of Kailash Parikrama. Reach at Juthulpuk (4760m) via Dolma La Pass (5623m). Overnight at Guest House

Second day of Kailash Parikrama is a tough day of the Yatra. Start early in the morning. tough uphill till Dolma La pass and immediately serious downhill till basic tea house at bottom of hill. then easy walking to Juthulpuk. It is trekking route entirely and takes about 9 hours in total. Simple dinner provided by our team in Juthulpuk.

Day 11: Last Day of Kailash Parikrama. Trek Back to Darchen and Drive Back to Saga. Overnight at Guest House

Third day of Kailash parikrama is final day of Parikrama. It is easy walking about 3 hours till Darchen and drive back to Saga via same way. You also can fill holy water at Lake Manasarovar.

Day 12: Drive Back to Kerung. Overnight at Guest House

Same way back drive to Kerung. Stay overnight at Tibet site of Kerung. Repack your your things to leave the place very early in the morning tomorrow.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu (9hrs). Overnight at Hotel

After your breakfast, drive down to immigration and cross the border. It is also time to say good bye to our Tibetan team. Drive back to Kathmandu with bus and transfer to hotel.

Day 14: Final Departure and Farewell Dinner (Drive to the Airport to head back to that special place we call home). 

You are free til departure time. It is important to reach International airport before 3 hours from your original flight time. Our representatives assist you till the airport
